Berry Berry good!

A berry-good to wake up and start fresh. I usually go for this pink-heaven choice on Mondays, as it makes my day! An invigorating smoothie that will kick start your week in the most delicious and creative way!

Ingredients:

  • ¾ glass Almond Milk or Soya Milk

  • ½ frozen berry variety and strawberries

  • 1 full spoon of hemp protein

  • 1 teaspoon maca powder

  • 1 small sachet of stevia (optional)

  • ½ spoon of guarana powder (optional)

Instructions:

  • Pick one or two berries to leave behind for decoration

  • Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth

  • When ready pour in a glass and top it up with your chosen berries!

I use unsweetened almond milk from 'Rude Health' for the milk base and a mix of frozen blueberries, blackberries and strawberries. Hemp adds to the nutty flavour and the outcome is a satisfying vegan drink, that will keep you going until lunch time!
