What is mindfulness Mindfulness is a way of training the mind to be in the present moment, to be aware of one's thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations. At the same time, mindfulness means being aware of our inner world, allowing us to observe our thoughts and emotions without attachment or judgement. Mindfulness can help reduce stress, increase focus, and bring greater clarity and peace in our lives. How to achieve mindfulness

  1. Practice deep breathing: Take a few moments to sit comfortably and focus on your breath, inhaling and exhaling deeply to calm your mind and body.

  2. Meditation / Exercise: Practice mindfulness meditation, focusing on the present moment and being aware of your thoughts, feelings, and body sensations, or use exercise as a way to achieve mindfulness. Yoga and Pilates, are two of the most known forms of exercise that help you achieve mindfulness.

  3. Take time to appreciate the little things: Take a few moments each day to appreciate the beauty in small things, such as the warmth of the sun on your skin, or the smell of freshly brewed coffee.

  4. Eat mindfully: Rather than eating on autopilot, take the time to savor each bite of your meal and be aware of the flavors and textures, without other distractions.

  5. Get outside: Spend time in nature and take in the wonders of the natural world around you. Notice the sights, smells, and sounds of nature and take a moment to appreciate its beauty.
